City Sewers Current Construction
Upper Beachwood West Maintenance Hole Project
The sewers in this area of the Hollywood Hills were originally built in 1923, prior to being annexed to the City of Los Angeles. It was later discovered that these sewers follow the street alignments and contain many sharp bends. Additionally, they do not contain adequate maintenance holes for access and repair. This project provides the much needed maintenance holes to allow proper sewer service and reduce the possibility of spills and odors. Future projects will take place in other portions of the community.
